THE TUESDAY MUSICALE OF PASADENA was founded to promote the knowledge, performance, and enjoyment of music by its members and to promote interest in music throughout the Pasadena community.
History
TUESDAY MUSICALE (TM) was founded in October 1914, by twenty-three active women musicians. Their purpose was to perform for each other, to increase the musical knowledge of its members and to promote interest in music throughout the community. The club has since grown to an organization of over one hundred members, with the same goals as set forth by the founders. More than two-thirds of the members are active performing musicians; the remainder are nonperforming music appreciation members.
